This is the best cafe or restaurant that I and my wife went for sure, I went there to celebrate my wife’s birthday. It was a on day reservation and they smoothly accepted the reservation and they agreed to arrange a birthday cake as well. food was exceptional and good portions it was a meal worth the money(we felt normally in Japan meals are delicious but we pay a lot and eat small portions) but here it’s was so good prices are average. service 100%, not crowed when we were there. But sometime it might get crowded. I would go again in the day time because it has a nice sea view. Atmosphere was so calm and quiet. Whole Encounter was a pleasant. So I will recommend this place by whole hearth . Thank you

Nice cafe beside the sea made of glass. Food and drinks on offer are actually quite good. Ample parking space outside with the first 30 minutes are free, then its a 100 yen for every 30 mins that follow. Its connected to the JR Hitachi train station. Place seemed a bit cluttered and needs some cleaning as its a bit dusty. No toilet on the premises. You need to go downstairs. There is a nice promenade just outside the cafe which gives a panoramic view of the sea. Not much to see in the evening though. Its a good stop over if you are passing by the area.
Fantastic view and excellent service. Went during the golden week, it was extremely busy as expected. But the staff was efficient and friendly making the experience pleasant. If visiting during the peak hours, make a reservation. Additional positive experience: I had made a phone call for a reservation during the golden week, despite being busy, they answered the call. Unfortunately reservations were not possible during this week, but I was glad to know it beforehand. When I visit Hitachi station next time, I would go here again.
Pancake is their popular meal, however, curry might be a good choice as well. Highly recommend to go early, if you would like to order curry. The soup and drink is provided as a buffet style. Yet, if staff can have more smile would be better.
